Basic Emergency Aid & Rescue Services (BEAR) is an industrial safety company serving all of western Canada. Based in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta.  BEAR boasts Medical Standby services, Breathing Air units, Safety training and Drug and Alcohol Screening.

BEAR’s medical division offers Mobile Treatment Centres (MTCs), Ambulances and Standalone units, covering a wide variety of medical standby jobs, from community events including rodeos, races, and festivals to oilfield sites including pipeline, drilling rigs, service rigs, plants, facilities etc.BEAR also offers Breathing Air units for industrial use.  Outfitted with rescue packs, monitors and supplied air, our air trailers are available manned or unmanned.

Safety training is offered at our brand new facility, or available in a mobile format at your facility. Regularly offering H2S Alive and Standard First Aid, BEAR can also offer ATV/UTV training, Confined Space, Fall Protection and others on an interest only basis.

Drug and Alcohol Screening is also available at our facility, or in the field via our mobile unit. We provide drug testing for many different scenarios, including pre-access, pre-employment, post-incident, etc.
