About Us

Basic Emergency Aid & Rescue Services Ltd. (also known as BEAR) has been operating as an industrial medical company since March 2006. Since our humble beginnings as a home based business, we have grown exponentially. Outgrowing our first shop, BEAR moved into the Rocky Mountain House city limits in March of 2013, exactly 7 years after being established in the area. Despite our growth, BEAR has proudly maintained our small company feel, while experiencing enough growth to make ourselves available to work across Western Canada.

BEAR still boasts superb medical services, with all levels of emergency practitioners -EMR’s, EMT’s and Paramedics- fully licensed to work in the province of Alberta. With new growth comes new opportunities, and BEAR has expanded into other industrial safety areas such as Breathing Air Units, Safety Training and Drug and Alcohol screening. You can find more info on each of our divisions on this website, or by calling our 24 hour dispatch line at 403-845-0826.
